How to be happy


A blog of happy things and advice for life.

Sometimes I need to remind myself to be happy and to do things that will bring me that happiness. This blog is my reminder.

Ask me anything

Fight anxiety

  1. Breathe slowly counting to 4. Repeat it 10 times
  2. Exercise
  3. Eat crispy food
  4. Accept things the way they are, surrender to the moment
  5. Be in the present
  6. Avoid catastrophic thoughts
  7. Eat more bananas and chocolate
  8. Write about what you feel grateful for each day
  9. Sing without using words, humming
  10. Repeat you’re worry over and over silently for 20 minutes until you’re bored
  11. Turn your anxiety into a movie, disconnect yourself from it
  12. Set aside specific worry time for 20 minutes each day
  13. Instead of judging your thoughts, describe it to yourself like it’s a curious object and move on
  14. Breathe it out
